Thank you for your interest in the Tapester Double-Sided Tape Applicator. This optional add-on greatly enhances the Tapester by adding flat strip taping capability in addition to the standard spine taping. Accurately apply ½” to 1” wide double-sided tape flat and straight along your product within a 3” wide area from the top.
The adjustable spool, tape guides and wiper allow you to position the tape as close as 3/16” to the top when guiding your product against the backplate. You can also guide the product along to the front side guide. This method is useful when you need to apply the tape right along the edge of your product such as when doing edging or reinforcing type of tape applications. The pivoting tape reel arm allows you to move the arm to an upright position when not in use.
